Meet Chloe Belle. I have known Chloe since she was born! Isn't she beautiful? Her daddy's going to have to beat the boys away with a stick! We had SO much fun over at the Botanical Gardens playing fairy princess..and doesn't she look like one with her long beautiful blonde hair? I LOVE the way the sunlight comes in through the wings. Meet Thomas and Emmeline. I have known Thomas almost since he was born. I haven't known Emmeline nearly as long, but I wish that I had! They are a precious couple, and the three of us had so much fun on our shoot. We didn't have a whole lot of time since it was so cold!! But, Thomas and Emmeline were such troopers, and we got some fun shots! We also decided that we would do some more pics when it was warmer!

Isn't she just beautiful? Mary Campbell was one of my flower girls in my wedding, since I have known her since before she was born! :) Now she is 8 1/2. How'd that happen? She is even more beautiful inside than out, if you can imagine. We had lots of fun during our shoot, and even though it was dinner time and cold, she wanted to keep taking pictures! Every photographer's dream! Thanks, MC! I love you!

So...When I did pictures with Miranda on Wednesday, we got really distracted taking fun shots...then, we almost got blown away, and then it started raining. SO...after church today, we went over to campus to get the actual head shots. No silly stuff! We still had fun, of course. Love you girl! You're beautiful - inside and out!

Much Ado About Nothing

In addition to teaching 5th grade and taking pictures, for the next two weeks I am somewhat of an "actress". And I use the term quite loosely. The faculty of my school is putting on a production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing - flapper/gangster style. We went over to McGee's Irish Pub in Anderson (side note: this is the restaurant where Jason and I had our rehearsal dinner two years ago...excellent restaurant...go there) so I could shoot our promotional pictures. We had a blast. There's nothing like seeing the headmaster play the gangster bad guy, or having 8 guns pointed at you (no, they weren't loaded, but still.) Anything for a good shot, right?

This is Miranda. Isn't she GORGEOUS!??! Miranda is my little brother's girlfriend, but, more than that, she is a precious friend. She needed some shots for something, and I, of course, was more than willing to oblige. It was obviously impossible to take a bad picture of her, so I had a really hard time deciding which ones not to post. SO, I posted a ton of them. Enjoy!

Sweet Little Maggie

I got to spend a few hours with a few kids that are about as close to my own as I can imagine at this point, never having had my own. :) I've been to the beach with these kids, babysat them, pretty much invaded their house the entire time I was at Clemson. Now that there's a new member of the family, I have to get to know her too. Maggie is just precious. I just took these while I was keeping the kids one afternoon. Isn't she beautiful?!?

The Merlo boys are three of the most fun boys. They were GREAT for our shoot. High-energy, happy, and always willing to jump up on a wall for a fun shot. Imagine that. :) Little brother Derrick was even up for trying to get a good picture. I LOVE the one of him winking. So cute.

The Evans family is a precious family that I have come to know and love through New Covenant School. Elizabeth, the mother of these 4 beautiful kids, helped me survive my first year of teaching. I had the privilege of having her in my classroom three mornings a week. She is one of those people who is always smiling!

On Saturday, I photographed my very first wedding! It was an amazing experience. Thankfully, I had a wonderful, laid-back, and very fun bride. I met Lauren through my best friend from high school, Hannah, who was in the wedding. When she called a couple of months ago to ask if I would be interested in doing the wedding, I said 'Yes!' in

a second.

Lauren and Matt, and their wedding party, were such troopers. It was 44 degrees outside...brrrr!! And neither the church nor the reception site had heat!! But, they still let me snap away, and had huge smiles on their faces all day. Their whole wedding was such a celebration! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

This afternoon, I got to photograph the Booth family. First, we took some pictures of Gabe and his grandparents. Then, I took some of Denae and her boyfriend. Aren't they all so precious?? Gabe was so much fun, and has the most precious little smile. He was very willing to do what we asked...as long as there was an m&m involved! Thanks for asking me to take your pictures, Denae. I had so much fun hanging out with all of you!

The Sumner Kids

The Sumners are a precious family I met through my job as a teacher. Riley was in my first 5th grade class, and her family quickly became very special to me. We went over to Clemson today seeking the "Christmas Card" picture. Despite a few mishaps and setbacks...we got some great shots, and had a pretty good time. Thanks for your time, guys! Maggie is the precious, beautiful, tiny, newest member of a family that is so special to me. She was born Monday, October 13, weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 oz. These are just a couple of shots I took in the hospital. Congratulations, Will, Missy, Webb, Mary Campbell, and Branton. I love you all!

Julia and Corinne are two precious little girls that I got to keep this summer. They are so much fun. I got to know their family when their older brother and sister (also twins!!!) were in my class last year. They weren't too thrilled about me shooting these pictures a couple of weeks ago, but they warmed up a little bit. :) I love their little Crocs!
